All pianists must participate in the Solo and may participate in the Concerto competition. Separate awards are given for both solo and concerto divisions.
The Waring also sponsors Master Classes with distinguished judges. Contestants who don’t advance into the files are strongly encouraged to perform in these valuable classes. We encourage all contestants to audit them. It’s amazing what one can learn by watching others! There is no fee for contestants to audit and participate in the Master Classes.
